There is no personal data transmission of that kind.
The retention period of personal data and criteria for its determination

Personal data of a user are erased immediately after the termination of a student’s study/employee’s work relationship, at user’s request or after one year of non-use of services.

 

Personal data are erased immediately after the withdrawal of the consent to process them (user’s account).

 

Printed documents concerning borrowings have been archived for one year.

 

Personal data from the borrowing order forms have been archived for the duration of the request.

 

The record about the loss of a document had been archived permanently. User’s personal data are anonymized after the settlement of the commitment. 

Information on whether providing of personal data is:  

- a legal or contractual demand or a demand needed to conclude a contract,

- the duty of the concerned person and what the possible consequences are in case of withholding of such data

Information about the rights of the data subject

According to Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the data subject has the right to:

  • access to the personal data (Article 15)
    • (The access to the personal data must not have an adverse effect on the rights of other natural persons.)
  • rectification of their personal data (Article 16),
    • erasure - right to be forgotten (Article 17),
      • public personal data,
      • unnecessary personal data,
      • unlawfully processed personal data,
      • personal data processed for direct marketing purposes
      • personal data after withdrawal of consent to processing, unless there is another legal basis for processing
      • this right does not apply to data processed:
      •  in the exercise of public authority entrusted to the controller,
      •  for the purposes of archiving, scientific/statistical purposes, historical research, the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and the right to information, the demonstration and enforcement of legal claims,
      • restriction of processing of persona data (Article 18),
        • during the correction of incorrect data,
        • during the verification whether in the course of processing in the exercise of public authority or on the legitimate interests of the controller the interests of the data subject do not override the interests of the data subject,
        • if the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of their use instead,
        • the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims,
      • portability of the personal dataprocessed by automated means(Article 20)
        • by processing the data based on the consent of the data subject or the contract between the controller and the data subject,
        • this right shall not apply to the data processed in the exercise of official authority vested to the controller,
      • object to processing of personal data (Article 21),
        • for reasons of public interest,
        • in the exercise of official authority vested to the controller,
        • the legitimate interests of the controller – the personal data shall no longer be processed unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing,
        • for direct marketing purposes – the controller shall stop the processing immediately.

The controller may restrict the scope of the rights of the data subject within the meaning ofArticle 23 of the Regulation (EU) where such a restriction is provided in order to ensure, in particular, the protection of the rights of the data subject or other persons and the enforcement of civil law claims.

The data subject has the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, Hraničná 12, Bratislava within the meaning of Article 13, paragraph 2, point d) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
