Virtual Study Room provides access to studying literature (textbooks, lecture notes, learning materials) published at Matej Bel University through Media INFO software. This is a controlled access to publications, whereby text cannot be stored, copied or printed, but only read.

ACCESS to the Virtual Study Room is possible in two ways:

  • direct access - from personal computers on the premises of MBU, i. e. from computers connected to IP addresses of MBU Metropolitan Network;
  • remote access - from your own devices and notebooks through the Virtual Private Network (VPN) using LIBRARY-VPN configuration file. This access is available only to registered users.

Instructions for installing and setting up the VPN client and configuration file are accessible on helpdesk.umb.sk. If the portal requires a login, use the same login name and password as for the University e-mail account.
